Donations

Pledges and Donations are made to the foundation primarily via our 'Donate Now' page of this website. When a pledge is made, the donated funds are matched to the pledge and a receipting function, where required, is used via our database.

The option to show your donation on the donors list is given during the pledge process and will be displayed upon receipt of donation, if that option is chosen. We respect anonymity and can accept donations anonymously, however, provisions contained in taxation legislation require us to collect the name of the donor if the donor requires a tax deductible receipt.

Donations are also taken at our fund raising events that are held across the globe. These donations are also recorded into our database for processing and where requested receipts are supplied.

Credit Card Payments

The 'Donate Now' process gives the option to make a donation via credit card online. Credit card details are passed to the St George Bank through a secured internet payment gateway. A full record of your credit card details is not stored anywhere at any time on our database. St George Bank processes all payments on their hosted environment.

Your donation information is protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology at all times.

All information collected will remain strictly confidential.

Cancellations and Refunds

In accordance with the charter of The Puffin Magic Foundation as a registered charity we do not offer refunds of donations made, however all pledges made are not considered final until full funds are received. Please contact info@puffinmagic.org.au for any specific pledge.
