ENGLISH CHANNEL SWIM 2010
When: 17-Sep-2010 to 18-Sep-2010
WEATHER DELAY
Unfortunately, due to unseasonably changeable weather conditions, the Team have been unable to attempt our scheduled crossing on this current low tide.
Arrangements have been made with the Skipper of our support boat to attempt on either 16 or 17 September. As a consequence, the sea will be colder and we'll most probably start and end the swim in the dark given the reduced hours of light.
Its worth noting that there have only been 600 successful attempts of crossing the Channel.
So, even though the wind gods mock us, we shall be patient and treat Mother Nature with the respect she deserves.
On behalf of the team and James (PMF), I thank you for the overwhelming amount of support !!
Channel Team 2010 DON'T MISS THE SLIDESHOW. Click below.
